Freeport is an unincorporated in Harper County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 5, Until November 2017, it was the smallest incorporated city in the state of Kansas.
Freeport was founded in 1885. It was located on the Missouri Pacific Railway. The first post office in Freeport was established in September 1885.
The city was dissolved by a vote of 4-0 in November 2017 election.
